About
Eric has a broad finance and accounting background with over 26 years of experience. He was responsible for mortgage loan servicing, mortgage loan securitization delivery to GNMA and FNMA, negotiating warehouse capacities, treasury management, strategic business plan, debt & equity financing, capital market positions, multi branch financial packages, key performance indicators, and contract reviews. He has extensive exposure in mortgage loan origination channels such as retail, direct to consumer, wholesale, and correspondent channels.
Prior to CCS, he was the CFO for Summit Funding, Inc. and participated in the organic growth of the company with over $1B mortgage loans originations. He has held financial executive positions as Senior Controller for Pacific Union Financial LLC and Corporate Controller for Megastar Financial Corporation. At Pacific Union Financial LLC, he was part of the team who assisted in providing the infrastructure for loan delivery to GNMA and FNMA. Eric spearheaded the financial reporting package with strict deadlines for 40 partner branches at Megastar Financial Corporation. At BWC (Bank of Walnut Creek) Mortgage Services, Eric was the EVP Finance and CFO responsible for the strategic growth of the mortgage banking activities. He was responsible for the transition from mortgage broker to banker and successfully made a material financial difference in the growth plan. In addition, he negotiated and secured warehouse capacities.
Eric received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University (AACSB) and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from National University in San Jose, CA. Eric believes in staying current and well-versed in his skill sets. Eric's most recent conferment in 2018 is of his Executive Master in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno (AACSB).
