He is a seasoned business executive renowned for delivering exceptional results and driving growth in competitive markets. A visionary leader in the mortgage industry, Scott founded BWC Mortgage Services affiliated with Bank of Walnut Creek in 1994, pioneering the concept of bank-mortgage broker partnerships—the first of its kind in the nation. From there, BWC rebranded as Commerce Home Mortgage became a nationwide force with over 27 branches across the US and closing over $2 billion in loans annually. In 2018, he orchestrated the sale of the company to a Private Equity firm.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Scott graduated with a BA in Business from St. Mary’s College and continues to invest in his community helping those around him bring their visions to life whether it is residential, commercial, or Private Capital lending
